Qiran Low, Cross Commodity Analyst, Independent

Qiran is currently based in Berlin, where she joined Engelhart Commodities in April 2023 as a cross-commodities analyst, following Engelhart’s acquisition of Trailstone.

Prior to this, Qiran worked on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs in Singapore for 3 years as a cross-commodities salesperson, gaining hands-on experience in trading and market dynamics across energy and bulk commodities.

She is recognized as an in-house specialist on Chinese macroeconomics and coal, leveraging her analytical skills to provide market insights and strategic guidance. Her background spans both commercial and analytical roles within leading global trading firms, positioning her at the intersection of market intelligence and deal execution in the international coal and commodities sector.

Qiran graduated with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore with a BBA specialising in finance, spending also a year at Yale University under the Yale Visiting International Students Program.
